This site is free to read because of affiliate commissions. Here is exactly how that works, what it costs you, and what it does and does not change about what you read. The trips themselves are compared on the Mangystau tours page.

The short version

We may earn a commission if you book through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the booking platform directly.

We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We do not sell tours, take payments or act as an agent for any operator or platform.

Who does what

Every trip listed here is sold and operated by a third party. On this site that is currently two companies — Go-Mangystau and Mangystau tour KZ — both selling through a booking platform. Their name, the platform and the product ID appear on each tour page so you can check the listing yourself.

The operator runs the trip, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the group cap, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. We have no authority to make commitments on their behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way.

The practical test is on the pages themselves. The cheapest listing pays the smallest commission and leads the comparison. The listing with the deepest review history carries the site's bluntest caveat — that its price covers one person and its guide is listed in Kazakh only.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings and review counts are the platform's own, read on the date shown on each page: 4.7 from 24 reviews, 5.0 from 5, 5.0 from 4 and 5.0 from 1 as of 12 August 2026, with two listings marked New activity and carrying no rating at all. We do not calculate a site rating of our own, and this site carries no aggregate rating of its own in its markup, because the site has no reviews.

Quoted reviews keep the reviewer's first name, country and travel month as published. We do not write testimonials.

Prices

Prices shown are the listed vehicle prices at the time of the last check, stated on every tour page: $490, $840, $910, $1,545, $1,650 and $3,400 as read on 12 August 2026, each covering a group cap printed alongside it. Per-person figures on this site are that price divided by that cap, and nothing more.

Prices move with season, group size and currency. The price that counts is the one on the checkout page before you pay. Our research process is set out in the editorial methodology.
